This presentation will address issues the New York attorney must address when representing clients with ties to New York and Florida. Dual residence clients must address New York/Florida issues in their estate planning documents, whether to plan for government benefits eligibility in New York or Florida, and consider whether to execute advance directives such as durable power of attorney, health care proxy/surrogate and living will in only one state or both states.
