Topics will include:

  • Consumer Debt: The process of a typical consumer collection proceeding; Defenses available to the debtor/consumer; Other options and strategies
  • Bankruptcy: Differences between Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 petitions; Mechanics of a Chapter 7 filing; Automatic stay and discharge

This program does not provide CLE credit.
