Providing Culturally Competent Services to the LGBTQ+ Community

As attorneys we are charged with not only understanding and addressing the evolving legal needs of our clients, but also with serving each client in a unique and culturally sensitive way. This program is designed to introduce basic terminology and concepts within the LGBTQ+ Community such as the difference between gender expression, gender identity and sexual orientation and to provide some tips and best practices for client interviews and case handling.
