In the wake of the #MeToo Movement, New York State has mandated that every employer and employee complete mandatory anti-sexual harassment training before October 9, 2019 (yes…. even solo practitioners!). This legislation creates new, and enhances existing obligations and liabilities in the workplace and has changed the standards for bringing such lawsuits. We will cover the evolution of these new laws, their practical application, and the First Amendment implications.
This course has been approved for CLE credit and also complies with the State and City regulations for harassment training.
